Owner Drew Shytle first started building Cornhole Boards for friends and family to take on recreational trips, tailgating for football games and for the every weekend get together at their homes.
The word grew pretty fast through word of mouth from his friends and family and caught the eye of a local Hardware Store in town and people around the triad. Comments that people kept making about our boards were "quality", "looks like a piece of furniture", "those are sweet" and so on and so on. But one comment stood out to me that my brother said while working at the shop behind my house, was "those are Legit. And the bags are even more Legit!" - That word stuck in my head all day and that's when I decided to name my company Legit Cornhole.
Over the past year, we have had nothing less than 100% satisfaction from boards to bags and customer service. When it leaves our shop, every single board has our name on it and we want nothing more than every single person to be proud of what they have purchased and for others to see it. As far as I am concerned, everyone in the world needs a Cornhole Set!
"Legit Cornhole" has become a family business over the course of the 2011 year. My brother has come to work with me full time and does an outstanding job. My other brother lives in Eastern North Carolina and is a Sale Rep for us. And my wonderful grandmother is in charge of all bags, plain and embroidered. My brother and I don't let one board out the door that we wouldn't be happy with if we would have bought them. And my grandmother is a perfectionist when it comes to "her Cornhole bags". One thing that makes this great is it has brought our family even closer and from a business side of it, communication is hands down perfect.
As of right now "Legit Cornhole" is officially licensed to sell NC State University, Appalachian State University, East Carolina University and UNC Chapel Hill. Of course we have goals we want to meet and are getting there quickly to get licensed with all Universities in the USA along with NASCAR, NFL, MLB and other professional organization. We will continue to operate in a "Legit" way and do whatever it takes to satisfy our customers.

Stain Finished Boards - These boards are stained with a dark finish and then polyed over 5-7 times. The cost of these boards start at $120.00 with your choice of plain bags.
Legit Cornhole Set - These boards are done completely. These are our most popular sets for gifts such as birthdays, Christmas or just because you're a nice person. The cost of these boards starts at $165.00 with your choice of plain bags. If you choose to get embroidered bags the price goes up to $180.00.
Printed Boards - We can print "Anything" onto the plywood. The cost of these boards starts at $205.00. Contact us today for a quote!
